Of all the driver coaching strategies I use, one of the most helpful is lap video analysis and so I wanted to be able to offer this separately at a price that is affordable to all. While lap analysis does include feedback on a driver’s line, the question shouldn’t be “Where is the optimal brake point?” Anyone can do data comparison or watch the lap of a known fast driver to learn the best line. If finding speed were as simple as comparing data with someone faster and then copying them, everyone would be a world class driver. A better question would be “Why does it look like I’m using the same brake point and line as driver X, but they are still faster?” Real progress comes when a driver learns how to overcome issues that they didn’t even know to look for.
