Adam Brouillard commissioned a special shirt be created for personal use. We are now offering this shirt for purchase, at-cost. You can read Adam’s comments about the creation of this shirt below.
"If I’m not wearing a driver’s suit, you’ll most likely find me in a comfy t-shirt. Naturally, I wanted to have one made that sported our logo so I could wear it to events and other functions, but also one I wanted to wear all the time.
The first step was to find the right base shirt. I must have tried about 30 different suppliers and learned a whole lot about shirt manufacturing before I found my favorite. The winning shirt is made from a lightweight, tri-blend fabric that has a lived in, vintage feel. I’ve been wearing these shirts just about every day for almost a year now and they have been holding up very well, but also don’t wrinkle easily. The photos show the fit very accurately as the shirt is on the more fitted side, but it’s not overly tight.
Next up came the design, which I call “Inner Drive.” The Paradigm Shift Driver Development logo is integrated into an offset vertical “DRIVE” lettering that recalls a road or the stripes of vintage racing jackets. The printing process is a premium “direct–to-garment” one which lays down a very fine layer of ink that you can’t even feel. This is much preferable for me as compared to the thick, screen-printed art of most graphic tees. The coloring of each design was selected based on the individual shirt color and there are seven to choose from. In my case, one for each day of the week.
While these shirts were originally just created for me and a few others on the team, we had several other drivers asking about how to purchase them. As you might have guessed, the high quality base shirt and premium printing process is not cheap, but I personally don’t think a t-shirt should cost more than 20 dollars. So rather than trying to sell this shirt for an exorbitant price or simply selling a low quality “merch” shirt, I’d rather just sell this one at-cost to anyone who is interested. I hope you like it as much as I do."
